Is there any way to manually set the radio matrix column widths?

I have a radio matrix with rather long question text, and the radio options are “Yes” or “No”. However, because the columns are equally spaced the question text is cramped and there is a lot of unnecessary whitespace around the “Yes” and “No” options.

Is there any way to manually set the column width for the radio matrix field so that it doesn’t look so bad?

It might be possible with custom css? You could also recreate your own custom radio matrix with containers and individual radios.
