Excel integration verification

Hi,

We’re facing an issue with the Excel integration. It seems that the app has been unverified. Please compare the below screenshots from Oct 2023 and Jun 2024. Could you please fix this?

Thanks!

Thank you for flagging this. We’re looking into it with our engineering team. We’ll post here once we have updates!

Hi there! Thanks for waiting. Can we confirm if you are using a new account to connect? Is the account you’re trying to sign in here recently the same as the one from 2023? If it’s different can you try to do the following steps first:

Thanks for your reply.

I can confirm that we are using a new account to connect. This account, however, is on the same tenant as the one from 2023. In this tenant, the application has already been approved. This approval does not propagate to the current request, presumably because the app is now “unverified” instead of “Playbook Software Inc.”.

Unfortunately, the provided steps do not resolve the issue.

Hey,
I also faced the same issue with the Excel integration. It seems that the app has indeed been unverified. After reviewing the screenshots from October 2023 and June 2024, it’s clear that something has changed.

Could you please share more details?

Thanks

Any updates on this? eri

Hi! We’re still engaged with Microsoft support regarding this issue. The action item is currently with Microsoft support, and we’re diligently following up with them. We’ll be sure to drop an update once we wrap up the reprocessing of verification!

Quick update from the team:

we have confirmed that even though its unverified, the admin account owner for the workspace tenant can still approve the request and proceed to use the integration.

still working on resolving this issue though

Thanks for the update.

Confirmed that the admin can approve and proceed to use the integration. Unfortunately, this approval does not hold for other accounts. This means that this solution is not really workable.

Any updates on this? It has been three weeks… @peter @eri

Not ideal, but you could use Make.com or Zapier’s integration with Excel as a workaround for now.

Thanks, but that’s unfortunately not an option for us. Still waiting for an official fix.

Hello @apocaviation , we’re still in contact with Microsoft Support for this one. The status is still pending on their end, but we’re actively working to resolve it as soon as possible.
