i have in my form that in the middle it goes to stripe and the payment goes through,h and then just goes back to the same page it left off, even tho the link for completed is not that page

after successfully payment on the stripe checkout the form is going to the completed stripe URL the i have set (the next page in the form) however the page is not blank and it’s just jumping back to the page before payment. I have been trying to fix this for hours messing with different options however i can’t get to the bottom of it. I feel like just one thing needs changing to get it to work!!!
I have already tried to add an action to go to the next step however what happens is because it loads the step before payment page pops up if you press the back arrow on the browser you end up on that page and then you have skipped payment.
